Hello to all once again and welcome back to the UK Homes home improvement blog. With the UK summer season supposedly coming to an end (did it ever start???) now is the time to cash in on sales at your local DIY store or garden centres on a massive range of summer goods, furniture, tools and other home improvement bit ands bobs. I’ve personally managed to bag a great deal on a range of decent quality garden furniture – a nice spread of cast iron tables, chairs and of course the mandatory parasol – all of which will soon be stuck in the back garden to soak up the last of the summer sun. Indeed, with the promise of a warm Autumn and having already experienced some excellent weather this weekend, I feel confident of getting a few days use out of them before it gets too cold to even consider sitting outside!
