As regular readers of my DIY blog will no doubt understand, I have a personal passion for scouring the web for the best online hardware stores from which to purchase home improvements parts and spares. I fully believe that this process formulates a key part of any successful home improvement project you may choose to undertake, because (although this may sound obvious) if you do not have the right tools and parts for the job you are unlikely to complete it successfully. Obviously, it is important to find a store that has the best offers to suit your needs but also delivers to your region at a reasonable price. Once again from my own observations I have found that many of the best shops are to be found in the US. Indeed, my many readers from the USA may find that there are several good stores online to help their personal projects including some excellent Texas hardware stores and California hardware stores which should not be overlooked.
I’m currently on my lunch brake scowering the internet’s many home improvement websites for some new tools for the old toolbox. My first impression of scouting around the various online DIY shops is that I never realised things as simple as hammers and screwdrivers could be so expensive – (and expensive is not my idea of DIY, especially considering my meagre income.) If anyone finds any half decent tools for reasonable prices I would very much appreciate a little nudge in the right direction!
thanks!

I’m thinking maybe some boring stuff like a new wardrobe and the inevitable random things I seem to end up picking up in that crazy shop! Dog shaped bottle openers, windscreen wiping devices, and erm, Swedish meatballs! You name it, those Swedes must certainly love their DIY
