Be prepared DIY blog fans as I am about to head off on a rant. Why oh why are all the best furniture stores based in the USA? I spend a lot of time online scouring the web to find top quality home furnishings to suit my personal tastes and I’ve found yet another excellent US based store which fits the bill. This New Jersey furniture store has so many cool products that just don’t seem to be readily available here in the UK. However, if you are looking for dining room furniture NJ or a wide selection of living room furniture NJ then this is unquestionably the site for you should be checking out! Maybe I can convince some of my blog readers to offer similar products here in the UK?! The American market certainly seems to be paving the way in the world of home improvement in 2009!

Hello once again DIY blog fans! I’m delighted to inform you that I’ve received an email from an old friend of mine in the USA who has just got himself a new job in a one of the many new furniture stores in San Diego. Like me, he’s got a very keen interest in doing little jobs around the home and also like me he has just got his first house and wants to settle in and do the best he can with it. However, he is very much a typical salesman and of course knowing my fondness for all things DIY, he is already trying to convince me that I should ship across all manner of the latest and greatest home improvement products from across the pond to my new house here in the UK. To be fair to the guy I can’t blame him – everything they are offering over there does seem very nice. I also rather foolishly let slip a few weeks ago that I’d been having problems with the mattress in my bedroom (which is now falling apart) and now with his new job he’s been gently ushering me towards getting a new one from mattress San Diego over in the states. Well actually, his ushering has never been very gentle, but he is a good friend and I quite enjoy his sales banter to I humoured him! Seriously though, I really do need a mattress sorting soon – maybe this can be the next venture to sort out this weekend.
