Hello all! What a wonderful week of weather we have had here in the UK! If you were to believe everything you hear from the forecaster’s nowadays you would think that the sun never shines here, but there is no denying that we have certainly been very lucky over the last few days. With this in mind, my advice to all you UK people is that you should take advantage of it now while you still can by getting out in your back gardens this weekend and enjoying it while it lasts!
Looking out the window now it seems like perfect weather for a BBQ this afternoon so I’ll invite my mates around for a few cold beers and a burger or 10! Thankfully, I have recently invested some of my hard earned cash in some very stylish teak garden furniture for my guests to sit on and enjoy the sun, so I think I may try and relax and forget the stresses of being back at work this week. I have personally found that a good quality garden set (combined with a glass of good wine or beer of course) can be a great way of enjoying the warm summer evenings – and the teak models I have bought recently are proving to be just the ticket. Its official DIY blog readers – spring has finally reached us here in the UK and allied to that we have (up here in the north of England at least) had a smashing weekend of lovely sunshine. I managed to get myself in the garden to catch some rays and put my feet up to get away from the weekly pressures of the office. With this in mind, I’m sure you’ll all agree its time to splash the cash on some patio outdoor furniture to make the most of the good weather while its here! Getting a few items of contemporary furniture or stylish modern furniture to furnish your patio or back garden is surely the best way to relax and soak up the sun (for as long as it lasts), and why not have yourself a delicious home cooked BBQ meal while you’re at it? With the UK summer season supposedly coming to an end (did it ever start???) now is the time to cash in on sales at your local DIY store or garden centres on a massive range of summer goods, furniture, tools and other home improvement bit ands bobs. I’ve personally managed to bag a great deal on a range of decent quality garden furniture – a nice spread of cast iron tables, chairs and of course the mandatory parasol – all of which will soon be stuck in the back garden to soak up the last of the summer sun. Indeed, with the promise of a warm Autumn and having already experienced some excellent weather this weekend, I feel confident of getting a few days use out of them before it gets too cold to even consider sitting outside! Get yourself down to the local DIY shop today and bag some bargains before its too late! If things are too big and heavy to get in your car, try getting some help from professional house removal specialists in your area – they are often an affordable solution and can save you putting your back out of place!
